About the Department

The Department of Ophthalmology at NMMC–PGIMS provides comprehensive ophthalmic care including outpatient, inpatient and emergency services. The department is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and follows the Competency Based Postgraduate Training Programme as prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Academic Activities

The department conducts structured academic activities for postgraduate trainees including case based seminars, case and problem based discussions, clinical case presentations, journal clubs, and revision sessions to ensure comprehensive academic and clinical training.
